Landluft - Association for the promotion of building culture in rural areas

The Landluft Association - Association for the Promotion of Building Culture in Rural Areas has been an active association for the promotion of rural building culture in Austria since 1999. Members of the association are experts from various specialist areas, including spatial planning, architecture and landscape planning, art and culture, politics, media and business.

Baukulturgemeinde Prize

The prize is awarded for willingness to innovate, commitment and productive discussion of future issues in the communities. By awarding the Baukulturgemeinde Prize, the association and the Austrian Association of Municipalities encourage communities with a special commitment to creating innovative building culture to deal with their own future. This prize honors innovative building culture and the people behind it; the prize was awarded for the first time in 2009 and a second time in 2012.
