The state elections in Lippe took place in January and February 1913 . The 21 members of the Lippe Landtag were elected .

General

The elections were held for the second grade on January 21st and for the third grade on January 20th. The first class MPs were elected on January 22nd. The runoff elections took place on February 1st. During the electoral period up to 1918 (the electoral term actually ended in 1917; however, no new elections were held due to the First World War ), the following new elections took place:

  • February 17, 1913: Sixth constituency, third grade
  • March 1, 1913: Sixth constituency, third class, runoff election
  • June 28, 1913: Seventh constituency, third class
  • July 8, 1913: Seventh constituency, third class, runoff election
  • July 29, 1913: Sixth constituency, third class
  • August 8, 1913: Sixth constituency, third class, runoff election
  • September 11, 1913: First constituency, third class
  • January 30, 1914: Sixth constituency, third class
  • February 10, 1914: Sixth constituency, third class, runoff
  • March 7, 1916: Seventh constituency, second class
  • December 19, 1916: Fifth constituency, third class

21 MPs were elected in three classes of seven MPs each. The first class was made up of the most highly taxed citizens. In the first class, those who paid at least 90 marks in property tax were eligible to vote in subgroup A. This sub-group elected five MPs in two constituencies. Subgroup B comprised those who paid at least 180 marks in income tax and elected two MPs in two constituencies. The second class was made up of taxpayers with property and income tax of at least 36 marks, the third class all other eligible voters. The 2nd and 3rd class voted in seven one-person constituencies each.

On November 14, 1918, the state parliament met for the last time to pass the new electoral law, according to which the state elections in Lippe in 1919 were carried out.
