Larry Bryggman

Larry Bryggman (born Arvid Laurence Bryggman ; born December 21, 1938 in Concord , California ) is an American actor .

Life

Bryggman was born in California. His family is of Swedish descent. He attended college in San Francisco and the American Theater Wing in New York . He made his off-Broadway debut in 1962 with A Summer Ghost .

His most famous role is that of Dr. Dixon in the TV series Young and Passionate , which he played for 35 years and for which he won several awards. He also starred in movies like ... and Justice for All , Die Hard - Right Now and Spy Game - The Final Countdown .

Bryggman has a daughter from an illegitimate relationship in the 1960s whom he only met as a teenager. His first marriage to the dancer Barbara Creed, divorced in 1982, resulted in two sons. From 1982 to 1987 he was married to Jacqueline Schultz , his colleague from As the World Turns . In 1999 he married the director Tracey Hanley Bryggman . The third marriage resulted in two more children.
