Lars Løkken Østli (born November 21, 1986 in Hamar ) is a former Norwegian ice hockey player who was active at Storhamar Hockey in the GET-ligaen from 2005 to 2019 - with only one season break - and played over 600 games in the top Norwegian league completed.

Career

Lars Løkken Østli began his career as an ice hockey player in his hometown with the Storhamar Dragons , for whose professional team he was active from 2005 to 2010 in the GET-ligaen , the highest Norwegian league. In the 2007/08 season he was Norwegian champion with his team . For the 2010/11 season , the defender moved to Luleå HF from the Swedish Elitserien . For the Swedes he scored a goal in 32 games, after which he was loaned to his hometown club Storhamar Dragons in January 2011 for the rest of the season. For the 2011/12 season he finally returned to the Storhamar Dragons in Norway.

Until 2019 he played for his home club in the GET-ligaen and ended his career in June 2019 with 622 league games as the club's top five record player.

International

For Norway Lars Løkken Østli took at junior level at the Under-18 World Youth Championship in 2004 , the U-20 World Youth Championship Division I in 2005 and the Under-20 World Youth Championship in 2006 in part. In the senior sector, he was in his country's squad at the 2010 , 2011 and 2012 World Championships .
