Lars van Sloun (born May 18, 1990 in Brunssum ) is a Dutch ice hockey player who is under contract with Laco Eaters Geleen in the Belgian-Dutch BeNe League .

Career

Clubs

Lars van Sloun, who comes from the small town of Brunssum in the Dutch province of Limburg , began his career as an ice hockey player in nearby Geleen with the Eaters there , for whom he still plays today. With the team from the Limburg industrial town, he won the Dutch ice hockey cup in 2010 and the Dutch championship title in 2012 . Until 2015 he played with his team in the Dutch honor division . After this was merged with the Belgian honor division , he participates with the Eaters in the merged product BeNe League .

International

Van Sloun won Group B of Division II with the Dutch team at the U-18 World Cup in 2007 and thus achieved promotion to Division I. There, the Oranjes around van Sloun had to relegate immediately after five defeats in five games the following year accept. In 2009 he was on the ice for his colors at the U-20 World Cup, also in Division I.

With his country's men's national team , he took part in the Division I World Championships in 2010 , 2011 , 2012 and 2013 .
