church

Catholic Church in Laskowice

Until the 20th century Laskowice belonged to the parish in Jeżewo. In 1952 it was decided to found its own parish in Laskowice and a monastery and a church should be built. After a monastery was built relatively quickly, the construction of the church was delayed because the politics of the time of the People's Republic of Poland were negative towards the church. In 1966, the construction of a church could begin when permission was given to rebuild the old barracks. The condition was not to enlarge the area of the building. The church was consecrated on December 8, 1969 and in 1971 handed over to the parish of Laskowice.
