action
Serial killer Jeremy Dillon is slated to be executed on the electric chair for the murder of three women .
Dillon shows no remorse for his actions. There was a storm during the execution and lightning strikes the power station that supplies the prison with electricity. The lightning strike causes a short circuit , so that the execution is interrupted and Dillon survives seriously injured.
After his recovery, Dillon cannot remember anything. He suffers from amnesia and consequently does not know who he is or what he has done. There is now a back and forth between those in favor of a new execution and those who want to spare Dillon a second execution.
criticism
“A film that is consistently calibrated to the question of whether its protagonist is only pretending to change or whether it has in fact changed. Since there are no side strands of the plot and no action elements distract from the plot, the film stands and falls with its main actor, who knows how to depict the ambivalence of his character with flying colors. "
"Exciting, but very far-fetched."
