Late September Dogs was a North German rock band that stood out for their live performances and the haunting voice of their singer Björn Both .

The band was founded in 1990 and won the Schleswig-Holstein Rock Prize and NightlifeTV Award as Band of the Year. After various labels, Stephan Borks Label TCP took over the production.

After the band split up , the musicians continued to make music in various projects: The band's singer and guitarist at the time, Björn Both, released the instrumental album Vibemares under the name Pulseflow in 2009 , which is part of the psy-trance scene. Since 2010 he has been touring solo as "Sangit" - from 2011 with the new album Where the Thundergiants Sleep and a new band, new record company and worldwide distribution. In 2011 Both became the singer of the band Santiano .

Stephan Bork played for Godewind for a while and managed the TCP studio in Schafstedt . Nico Fintzen has dedicated himself to film music and electronic music. Stefan Hanson played in various projects - Eureka, Taurus - and taught drums in Husum .

style

Musically, the band can be seen as a crossover , as they combine different styles of music. On the debut Talking to the Moon , ethnic, pop, sing'n'songwriter and neo psychedelic merge with didgeridoo sounds. The second album On the Cold Hill Side is more spherical, floating and mysterious, but also heavier thanks to more electric guitars. The last studio album Alienated then became more electronic and based more on modern beats, drum and bass, ethno dub and darker wave. The last live album was called Rush .
