Monuments

Lathum has two structures that play a role in the history of the region. The Lathum House (Huis te Lathum) was first written about in 1355. The reformed church (Hervormde Kerk) dates back to the 13th century and was described by the writer Jan Siebelink in his novel Knielen op een bed violen (2005) as the blue bell tower (de blauwe klokkentoren).
