The Latvijas Zemnieku savienība ( LZS ; German Farmers' Association of Latvia ) is a peasant political party in Latvia .
In the 2002 parliamentary elections in Latvia , she and the Greens formed the Alliance of Greens and Peasants ( Zaļo un Zemnieku savienība ), which won 9.5% of the vote and 12 out of 100 seats. In the last parliamentary elections in Latvia in 2014 , the alliance received 19.5% of the vote and thus 21 out of 100 seats, 9 of which went to the LZS.
The party sees itself as the successor to Latviešu Zemnieku savienība, which existed from 1917 to 1934 .
