Laura Sieger (born February 18, 2000 ) is a German soccer goalkeeper .
Career
societies
From April 2015 to September 2016, the winner played a total of 25 games for the B-Juniors of 1. FC Cologne in the West / Southwest Bundesliga . In the 2016/17 season she was part of the women's team, for which she made six appearances in the 2nd Bundesliga South by the end of the year . In the league game against 1. FFC 08 Niederkirchen , however, she tore a cruciate ligament and was out for the rest of the season. The team managed to end the season as runners behind the rise not legitimate second representation of TSG 1899 Hoffenheim promotion to the Bundesliga . In 2017/18 Sieger was part of the squad of the second team that had recently been promoted to the 2nd Bundesliga.
In the summer of 2018, she signed a contract with Bayer 04 Leverkusen, newly promoted to the Bundesliga . On October 27, 2018 (7th matchday), she came on as a substitute for Anna Klink after half-time in the 7-0 defeat in the away game against VfL Wolfsburg , making her debut in the Bundesliga. A week later, the home game against TSG 1899 Hoffenheim was followed by the first full playing time. For the 2020/21 season, Sieger signed a contract with newly promoted Bundesliga club SV Meppen .
National team
The goalkeeper appeared 16 times for German junior teams from December 2014 to October 2016. She made her debut in the national jersey on December 3, 2014 in the 13-0 victory of the U-15 national team against Belgium. With the U-16 national team , she took part in the Nordic Cup twice and finished second with the team in both 2015 and 2016. Most recently, she played four games for the U-17 national team in autumn 2016 , two of which were part of qualifying for the 2017 European Championship .
