Laure Soulié (born April 28, 1987 in Pas de la Casa ) is a former French and Andorran biathlete .

Laure Soulié lives in Porté-Puymorens and trains in Les Rousses . The student from the University of Paris-South starts for the SC Villard de Lans and is trained by Thierry Dusserre . In 2002 she started biathlon, in 2005 she was promoted to the French national team. Soulié competed in her first international race in 2005 in Gurnigel as part of the Junior European Cup. She finished third in her first sprint, a comparatively poorly staffed race, and won the following pursuit race. The Junior World Championships 2006 in Presque Isle brought a 17th place in the individual, 12th place in the sprint and 13th in the pursuit. In the relay race she won the bronze medal with Marine Dusser and Marine Bolliet . In the junior competitions on roller skis during the Summer Biathlon World Championships 2008 in Haute-Maurienne , Soulié finished eighth in sprint and pursuit. During the 2007/08 season , Soulié switched from the juniors to the women and competed in her first European Cup race , an individual, in Langdorf in 2008 and finished 29th. The first top ten placement followed a little later in Cesana San Sicario . The first major event for women was the 2008 European Biathlon Championships in Nové Město na Moravě . In the sprint, the Frenchwoman reached 25th place, in the pursuit she was 26th, eighth in the individual and sixth in the relay race with Marine Rougeot , Bolliet and Anaïs Bescond . Since the season 2009/10 she starts for her native country Andorra. In 2010 , she was the first Andorran to take part in the biathlon world cup race in Antholz , and in her first race, an individual, was the 37th to win her first World Cup points. In the following season she was able to improve her best result in the World Cup with a pursuer in Presque Isle to 31st place , in 2012 to 26th place in a sprint in Oberhof . Before that, at the end of the 2010/11 season, she started as the first Andorran woman at the 2011 Biathlon World Championships in Khanty-Mansiysk and was 33rd in the sprint, 53rd in the pursuit and retired as a lapped runner in the pursuit race.

In Ruhpolding, on January 10th, 2014 Soulie finished ninth in the singles with only one mistake and thus reached the top ten of the World Cup for the first time.

On March 24, 2014, she announced her retirement as an active biathlete.
