Laurențiu Vamanu (born June 5, 1993 ) is a Romanian biathlete .

Laurențiu Vamanu played his first international races as part of the Junior World Championships 2011 in Nové Město na Moravě , where he was 37th of the individual, 63rd of the sprint and 14th with the relay. This was followed by the junior races at the 2011 European Championships in Ridnaun , where the Romanian reached 54th place in the sprint race and did not finish in the pursuit race as a lapped runner. In the mixed relay race, he finished 13th in a lapped relay. In Kontiolahti Vamanu took part in the Junior World Championships in 2012 and reached 46th place in the individual, 42nd in the sprint, 58th in the pursuit race and 11th in the relay competition.
