Lauren De Ruyck (born August 10, 1995 in Gent ) is a Belgian singer and actress.

De Ruyck grew up in the Ghent district of Drongen and performed in musicals at a young age. She gained greater fame in the spring of 2010 when she took part in the Ketnetpop music show on the Flemish children's TV channel Ketnet . A few months later she took part in the Ketnet Show Junior Eurosong 2010 with Jill Van Vooren . The singers, who met through their participation in Ketnetpop , performed as Jill & Lauren with the song Get up! on. They wrote the song together with Peter Gillis , Alain Vande Putte and Miguel Wiels . They won the show and were allowed to represent Belgium at the Junior Eurovision Song Contest 2010 . In Minsk , Get up! seventh place out of fourteen participants.

After participating in the JESC, De Ruyck took part in musicals again, so she played the role of Bielke in Anatevka and was seen as Sara in Domino , a musical based on the songs of Clouseau . From 2011 to 2014 she played the role of Femke Goossens in the studio 100- produced television series Galaxy Park over three seasons . For this she was given the Gouden K , an award given by Ketnet. She had a smaller role in the VTM series Binnenstebuiten . In 2012 De Ruyck signed a record deal in London and released several singles under the pseudonym Lauren Anny J , but they were not commercially successful.

In 2015 De Ruyck took part in the television show K3 zoekt K3 , which was broadcast by VTM and SBS 6 , after the previous members of the girl group K3 announced that they were leaving the group. She reached the finals, but was not elected to the newly cast band. After the final, she announced that she would end her singing career for the time being and concentrate on studying psychology at Ghent University .
