The Laurhibar is a river that runs in France in the Pyrénées-Atlantiques department in the Nouvelle-Aquitaine region . It rises under the name Ilhounatzéko Erreka in the Pyrenees , near the Col Burdin Olatzé pass , in the municipality of Aussurucq , initially drains in a south-westerly direction, but soon turns to the north-west and, after a total of 28 kilometers, flows into the municipal boundary of Saint-Jean-Pied- de-Port and Ispoure as a right tributary into the Nive .
