Störmecke is a district of Lennestadt in the North Rhine-Westphalian district of Olpe .

The place is directly on the federal highway 236 in the section that leads from Altenhundem to Schmallenberg . At the end of 2017, there were 24 people living in Störmecke. Neighboring villages are Milchenbach , Hundesossen and Saalhausen . The area around the village is shaped by the Lenne valley , the Störmecke Siepen tributary flowing into the Lenne and the Rothaargebirge mountain ranges surrounding the Lenne valley . Störmecke belonged to the former municipality of Saalhausen. On July 1, 1969, the town became part of the new town of Lennestadt through local government reform .
