Lauritz Christian Christiansen (born December 10, 1867 in Bergen ; † December 9, 1930 ibid) was a Norwegian sailor .

Lauritz Christiansen, who for the Kongelig Norsk Seilforening sailed, was in 1920 in Antwerp at the Olympic Games in the 12-meter class after the International Rule of 1907 Olympic champion . He was a crew member of the Atlanta , which participated as the only boat in its class. The Atlanta sufficient lack of competition in two races each reaching the goal to win the gold medal. The crew also included the brothers Halvor and Rasmus Birkeland , Halvor Møgster , Hans Næss and the brothers Ole , Jan , Kristian and Henrik Østervold . The latter was the owner and skipper of the Atlanta .
