The Led ( Russian Ледь ) is a left tributary of the Waga in the Arkhangelsk Oblast in northwestern Russia .
The Led has its origin in the Letosero lake . It flows through the administrative districts of Plesezk and Schenkursk in an easterly direction. 48 km above the estuary, the Tarnja meets the Led from the right. The Led then turns to the northeast and runs parallel to the Waga. The M8 trunk road crosses the Led in the lower reaches and runs a short distance along the left bank of the river. Finally, the Led flows into the left bank of the Waga about 30 km north of Schenkursk .
The Led has a length of 184 km. It drains an area of 2690 km². The Led is mainly fed by the snowmelt . The mean discharge 42 km above the estuary is 16.7 m² / s. The river is ice-covered from late October / November to the second half of April / May.
At least earlier the Led was used for rafting . The river is said to be rich in fish.
