Lee David Zlotoff
Lee David Zlotoff (born July 10, 1954 in New York City ) is an American film producer , screenwriter and director . He gained notoriety as the creator of the 1985 television series MacGyver . He is involved as executive producer in the new edition , which has been broadcast since 2016. He was also the executive producer of the television series Remington Steele .
As a director, he directed the television film Plymouth (1991) and the film The Story of the Spitfire Grill (1996) in addition to isolated episodes from various series .
Zlotoff is married with four children and lives near Los Angeles .
