Lehna is a hamlet-like district of Schimberg in the Eichsfeld district in Thuringia .

location

Lehna is about 2.5 km northwest of Ershausen in a valley of the Misseröder Kalkrücken ( Lichtenberg : 385.8 m to the west and Siebert Burg : 424.0 m in the Northeast and Tierberg : 362.8 m in the East) in hilly rural area of Südeichsfeldes . The place is connected to the surrounding villages via Landesstraße 2027 .

history

On April 26, 1257, the village was first mentioned in a document. The origin of the name probably goes back to borrowed property or fiefdom . The place belongs to the general court Hanstein . The little church of St. Martin was built in 1885. On January 1, 1957 Lehna was incorporated into Misserode-Lehna and came to Ershausen on March 15, 1974. 19 people lived in the agricultural community in 2009.
