Lei Feng
Lei Feng ( Chinese 雷鋒 / 雷锋 , Pinyin Lei Feng ; * 18th December 1940 in Changsha , † 15. August 1962 ) was a soldier of the Chinese People's Liberation Army , that of Mao Zedong in 1963 for "national model" for the People's Republic of China declared has been.

Léi Fēng died at the age of 21 when he was struck to death by a telephone pole that the truck had rammed while guiding a truck . In recent years , the myth of Lei Feng has been renewed by the CCP as part of "Social Harmony," a moral appeal to compensate for the extreme income disparities in China today .
In Léi Fēng's honor, there is Léi Fēng Day ( March 5th ). There is a Lei Feng Museum in Fushun City .
