Lennard Larysz (born November 25, 1997 in Hamburg ) is a German basketball player of Polish descent.
career
Larysz began his basketball career at the age of seven in the youth department of BC Hamburg. His father Paul , who moved to Hamburg from Poland at the age of 14 , was managing director of the BCJ Hamburg and long-time coach of the Itzehoe Eagles .
After appearances for BC Hamburg (youth and 2nd regional league) and Piraten Hamburg ( JBBL and NBBL ), he also played for SC Rist Wedel in the 2nd Bundesliga ProB from the 2014/15 season . In the 2015/16 season, Larysz was also part of the Hamburg Towers squad and played two short appearances in the 2nd Bundesliga ProA .
He spent the 2016/17 season at TG s.Oliver Würzburg in ProB and was announced as a new addition by the first division club BG Göttingen in May 2017 . Larysz played 20 (mostly short) Bundesliga appearances during his time in Göttingen, after the 2018/19 season, his contract with the "Veilchen" was terminated because he primarily wanted to take care of his studies. Larysz moved to the third division club Dresden Titans .
