Leo Delsa

Leo Delsa (born October 1, 1821 in Königsberg i. Pr. , † July 8, 1910 ) was a German administrative lawyer.

Life

Delsa studied law at the Albertus University in Königsberg . From 1842 he was a member of the Corpsland Team Normannia . In two semesters he distinguished himself as consenior. In 1846 he joined the internal administration of the Kingdom of Prussia as a government trainee . After three years as a government assessor in the Hohenzollern Lands , he became Lord Mayor of Stargard in 1854 . At the end of his twelve-year term in 1866, he waived re-election. He was initially appointed provisionally and finally in 1868 as district administrator in the district of Kosten . As in Stargard, economic development was particularly important to him in this position. Among other things, a flourishing sugar factory was founded on his initiative. In 1879 Delsa came to Köslin as a councilor . He retired on May 1, 1898.
