Leoncio Leviste Lat

Leoncio Leviste Lat (born September 16, 1917 in Malvar ; † November 6, 2002 ) was a Filipino Roman Catholic clergyman and auxiliary bishop in Manila .

Life

Leoncio Leviste Lat received on 21 March 1942, the sacrament of Holy Orders .

On 30 October 1980. appointed him Pope John Paul II. To the titular of Sila and the Auxiliary Bishop of Malolos . The Apostolic Nuncio in the Philippines, Archbishop Bruno Torpigliani , donated him episcopal ordination on January 29, 1981 ; Co- consecrators were the Archbishop of Lipa , Ricardo J. Vidal , and the Bishop of Malolos, Cirilo Almario .

In 1985 Leoncio Leviste Lat was appointed auxiliary bishop in Manila. On December 12, 1992, John Paul II accepted Lat's motion to resign on grounds of age.
