Leopold Eichinger
Leopold Eichinger (born March 13, 1940 in Hafnerbach ; † November 20, 2009 in Mödling ) was a Lower Austrian regional politician of the Austrian People's Party (ÖVP) and President of the Lower Austrian Parliament .
Life
From 1961 Leopold Eichinger graduated from the Francisco Josephinum Teaching and Research Center in Wieselburg-Land and in 1965 joined the State of Lower Austria (soil protection), where he became a member of the government.
politics
From 1975 to 1992 he was mayor of the market town of Biedermannsdorf . In 1985 Leopold Eichinger became a member of the Federal Council . From 1988 to 1998 he was a member of the Lower Austrian Parliament, and from 1993 to 1998 he was the third President of the Lower Austrian Parliament. Until 1998 he was the main district party chairman in the ÖVP Mödling.
