Fuchs was Jewish , married and had two daughters. He died in Vienna at the age of 51 and was buried in the old Israelite section of the Vienna Central Cemetery.
plant
Leopold Fuchs mainly built residential buildings in the inner districts of Vienna. He initially used a neo-baroque, historicist formal language and later took up secessionist stylistic devices . A distinctive feature of his buildings is the highly sculptural design of the façades, whereby he processed the existing vocabulary into independent and original solutions.
