Les Essarts is a town and commune Déléguée in the French community Marbois with 448 inhabitants (448) in the south of the department Eure in the region of Haute-Normandie . The inhabitants are called Essartais .
The municipality of Les Essarts was merged with Le Chesne , Chanteloup and Saint-Denis-du-Béhélan to form the municipality of Marbois as Commune nouvelle on January 1, 2016 . It belonged to the Arrondissement of Évreux and the canton of Verneuil-sur-Avre .
