Leslie Holleran

Leslie Holleran is an American film producer .

Holleran is married to film editor Andrew Mondshein . They have two sons, Spencer and Taylor, and live in Larchmont , New York. Both sons are also active in the film industry. It was Andrew Mondshein who introduced Lasse Hallström , who also lives in Westchester County , to his wife.

Holleran was co-producer in Lasse Hallström's novel adaptation of God's work and the devil's contribution . John Irving recalls that Holleran's idea was to feature Homer Wells' failed adoption attempts in the opening credits.

In Hallström's next film, Chocolat , she was one of the three producers, which earned her a 2001 Academy Awards nomination . The collaboration between Leslie and Hallström continued in the four subsequent films Ship Reports , An Untamed Life , Casanova and The Hoax .

Holleran then produced the pilot for the television series New Amsterdam .

In 2011, the film she produced, Wer ist Hanna? .

She is currently working with Irena Salina on a Bollywood film that will be called Diwali .
