Let loose
Let Loose is a British pop trio that enjoyed success in the 1990s. The biggest hit is Crazy for You from 1993.
biography
The three musicians Lee Murray, Richie Wermerling and Robert Jeffrey found each other through a newspaper advertisement in 1991 and founded the group Let Loose a little later. The band's pop music, carried by powerful guitars, was carried by Wemerling's distinctive vocals, and was mainly resonated in the UK. With the song Crazy for You in April 1993 the trio first entered the English charts . In addition to the second place there, the single was also listed in the Austrian charts a few weeks later (number 27).
In April 1994 the single Seventeen climbed to number 11 in the UK charts, the accompanying album Let Loose reached number 20 there in November. In January and April 1995, the releases One Night Stand and Best in Me followed at positions 12 and 8. The trio also managed to defend itself against a boy group image through successful unplugged appearances .
The harbinger for the second album was Everybody Say Everybody Thu . The single rose to number 29 on the UK charts in November 1995. In June 1996, Make It with You , which reached number 7, was followed by another top 10 hit. The releases Take It Easy and Darling, Be Home Soon were, like the album Rollercoaster , smaller chart successes in the same year. The group then broke up.
In 2008 the protagonists came together again after a long break and published a. a. four new songs on Myspace . The trio is still active.
