Levy Matebo Omari
Levy Matebo Omari (born November 3, 1989 ) is a Kenyan long-distance runner who has specialized in the marathon distance .
In 2008, Omari finished tenth in the junior race of the World Cross Country Championships in Edinburgh . In 2010 he won the Brussels Marathon and a few weeks later came sixth in the La Rochelle Marathon . The following year he won the Nice half marathon in a personal best of 1:00:06 hours and came second in the 25 km of Berlin . When he won the Barcelona Marathon in the same year, he missed the course record of his compatriot Jackson Kipkoech Kotut with a time of 2:07:31 hours by just one second.
