Jackson Kipkoech Kotut

Jackson Kipkoech Kotut (born February 12, 1988 in Kapsabet ) is a Kenyan marathon runner .

In 2008 he finished third in the Tiberias Marathon in 2:10:57 h , which he won the following year with a course record of 2:08:07 h. In the same year a fifth place in the Rotterdam and an eleventh in the New York City Marathon followed .

In 2010 he improved the course record at 2:07:30 in the Barcelona Marathon by more than two minutes and ran the fastest time on Spanish soil to date.

Kotut is trained by Mike Kosgei and supervised by PACE Sports Management .
