Kapsabet is the capital of the Kenyan Nandi County with 22,804 inhabitants in the urban area and a total of 91,030 inhabitants in the rural administrative district (2009). Kapsabet is 40 km southwest of Eldoret in the settlement area of ​​the Nandi .
