Lewis Teague (born March 8, 1938 in New York City ) is an American film director and film editor .

Lewis Teague is best known for filming two Stephen King novels in the 1980s. He began his career as a director on television, while also working as an editor. As such, he was involved in the short film Number Our Days (1976).

Lewis Teague made his film debut as a director in 1974 with A Bull for All Cases . He made films of various genres. In 1980, The Horror Alligator, a contribution to the animal horror genre . In the 1990s he directed individual episodes of television series such as Nash Bridges and Time Trax . Four more film productions followed in the 2000s.
