Liadagmis Povea Rodríguez (born February 6, 1996 ) is a Cuban three-jumper .
Athletic career
Liadagmis Povea gained her first international experience at the 2014 Junior World Championships in Eugene , where she won the silver medal behind French rouguy Diallo with 14.07 m . The following year she was sixth at the Pan American Games in Toronto with 13.97 m and then won the silver medal again at the Pan American Junior Championships in Edmonton with 14.08 m. In 2016 she qualified for the Olympic Games in Rio de Janeiro , where she did not reach the final with 13.63 m , as well as at the 2017 World Championships in London , where she qualified with a width of 13.55 m retired. In 2018 she won the bronze medal behind the Colombians Caterine Ibargüen and Yosiris Urrutia at the Central America and Caribbean Games (CAC) in Barranquilla with 13.44 m . At the Pan American Games in Lima in 2019 , she won the bronze medal with 14.60 m behind the Venezuelan Yulimar Rojas and Shanieka Ricketts from Jamaica. She was also considered a medal candidate at the World Championships in Doha , but surprisingly dropped out there with 14.08 m in qualification .
In 2017 and 2019 Povea became the Cuban triple jump champion.
