Liam Reddox (born January 27, 1986 in Whitby , Ontario ) is a Canadian - British ice hockey player who has been under contract with Växjö Lakers Hockey in the Svenska Hockeyligan since May 2011 .
Career
Liam Reddox began his career as a hockey player in the Ontario Junior Hockey League, in which he was active for one season each for the Milton Merchants and the Wellington Dukes from 2001 to 2003. The attacker then played for the Peterborough Petes in the Ontario Hockey League for four years . During this time, he was selected in the NHL Entry Draft 2004 in the fourth round as a total of 112th player by the Edmonton Oilers . Initially, however, Reddox played in the 2006/07 season for Stockton Thunder from the ECHL , before making his debut for the Oilers in the National Hockey League the following year . However, this remained his only NHL appearance this season, as he spent the rest of the season with Edmonton's farm team , the Springfield Falcons , in the American Hockey League . In the 2008/09 season Reddox came regularly for Edmonton to inserts and scored twelve points scorer, including five goals, in 46 games for the Oilers. In May 2011, Reddox was signed by Växjö Lakers Hockey from the Elitserien .
International
For Canada Reddox took part in the U18 World Junior Championship in 2004 , where he finished fourth with his team.
