Lieke Klaver (born August 20, 1998 in Velsen ) is a Dutch sprinter .

Career

Lieke Klaver gained her first international experience at the U20 World Championships in Eugene in 2014 , where she was eliminated in the run-up to the Dutch 4 x 100 meter relay. In 2015 she took part in the U20 European Championships in Eskilstuna , Sweden , where she finished sixth in the 200 meter final. In addition, she could not finish the final run with the Swedish relay. In 2016 she was part of the relay for the U20 World Championships in Bydgoszcz , where she was eliminated in advance. At the U20 European Championships in 2017 in Grosseto , she again finished sixth over 200 meters and eighth with the Dutch relay. The IAAF World Relays in 2019 in Yokohama , she won the 4 x 400-meter relay in 3: 29.03 minutes in the B-final and then arrived at the world championships in Doha up to the finals , where they 3 : 27.89 min took seventh place.

In 2017 Klaver became Dutch indoor champion over 200 meters and in 2020 in the 400 meter run .
