Liliana Komorowska

Liliana Komorowska (born April 11, 1956 in Danzig ; born Liliana Głąbczyńska ) is a Polish - Canadian actress .

Life and accomplishments

In 1979 she graduated from the Aleksander Zelwerowicz Theater School in Warsaw . Komorowska had her first appearance as Abigail in Arthur Miller's play Witch Hunt , for which she received a prize for best actress from the Polish Television Academy. Further engagements in the theater, in television productions and in movies followed.

After the US film War and Love (1985) with Kyra Sedgwick , Komorowska stayed in the United States, where she continued her career. She stood in front of the camera in over 40 roles. While filming the sci-fi horror film Scanners III (1992), she met her future husband, the Canadian director Christian Duguay .

Directed by Duguay, she played supporting roles in the science fiction film Screamers - Tödliche Schreie (1995) with Peter Weller and Roy Dupuis , in the period film Jeanne d'Arc - The Woman of the Millennium (1999) with Leelee Sobieski , in the action film Extreme Ops (2002) with Devon Sawa , in the thriller The Art of War (film) (2000) with Wesley Snipes , in the espionage thriller The Assignment (1997) with Aidan Quinn , Donald Sutherland and Ben Kingsley and in the biographical film drama Hitler - Der Aufstieg des Evil (2003) with Robert Carlyle .

Komorowska lives in Montreal .
