Linas Klimavičius (born April 10, 1989 in Panevėžys ) is a Lithuanian football player . His father Albertas Klimavičius and brother Arūnas Klimavičius are also football players.

Career

As a club player

Klimavičius began his professional career in 2006 at Ekranas Panevėžys , where he scored one goal in 15 games. In 2007 he moved to Sūduva Marijampolė . After only one season he signed a contract with the Ukrainian club Dnipro Dnipropetrovsk . In 2010 he was awarded to Kryvbas Krywyj Rih for one year before playing again directly in Dnepropetrovsk from 2011 to 2013. In the 2013/14 season he was in service with FK Daugava Riga . He has been playing for FK Trakai since 2014 .

In January 2019 he moved to Dinamo Bucharest .

As a national player

Klimavičius played for the Lithuanian U-21 national team in 2010 . On June 5, 2015, he made his senior national team debut in a friendly against Hungary in Debrecen . Right from the start he was part of the starting line-up and played the whole game, which was lost 4-0.
