Linda Foerster

Linda Foerster (* 1984 in Gütersloh ) is a German theater actress .

Life

Foerster gained his first acting experience during her school days. In the 12th grade she played the brothel landlady in a school theater production in the comedy Don Juan or The Love of Geometry by Max Frisch .

After graduating from high school, Foerster completed an acting training at the Freese Drama Studio in Hamburg , which she completed in 2006. During her time in Hamburg she was a guest at the Altona Theater and worked as an acting teacher at a Hamburg primary school .

From 2007 to 2009 Foerster was a permanent member of the ensemble at the Braunschweig State Theater . There she played the leading role of Dorothy in the play The Wizard of Oz based on motifs from the children's book by Lewis Carroll .

In Braunschweig she worked with directors Christian Tschirner , Dominik Günther , Mario Portmann and Katja Ott, among others .

Linda Foerster has been a permanent member of the ensemble at Theater Erlangen since the 2009/2010 season . Foerster made his successful debut there in October 2009 in the play Clyde and Bonnie by Holger Schober . Also in October 2009, she played there as a partner of Hermann Große-Berg the Lizzie in the comedy The end of the beginning of the Irish playwright Seán O'Casey . From January 2010 she took on the role of Putzi , the naive wife of the smart biology professor Nick, in Edward Albee's stage success, Who is Afraid of Virginia Woolf? Alongside Steffen Riekers (as Nick ) . .

From April 2010 she will play at Theater Erlangen in a production by director and general manager Katja Ott in Henrik Ibsen's play The Woman from the Sea .
