Lindolfo Leopoldo Collor
Lindolfo Leopoldo Collor (born June 7, 1931 in Porto Alegre , † January 6, 2005 in Brasília ) was a Brazilian diplomat .
Life
Lindolfo Leopoldo Collor was the son of Hermínia Bartolomeu de Souza e Silva and Lindolfo Leopoldo Boeckel Collor (born February 4, 1890 in São Leopoldo ; † 1942) Gaucho , pharmaceutical entrepreneur , journalist from 1930 to 1932 Minister of Labor in the first government cabinet of Getúlio Vargas and uncle of Fernando Collor de Mello . From 1957 to 1959 he was the third class legation secretary in Mexico City . In 1960 he was employed in Buenos Aires . In 1961 he was employed in Quito .
From 1964 to 1965 he was chargé d'affaires in Bangkok , in 1975 he was employed at the UN headquarters . From 1981 to 1984 he was ambassador to Dar es Salaam and resided there on the ninth floor of the IPS Building . From 1985 to November 3, 1990 Ambassador to Dakar , Senegal and Banjul , Gambia. From November 3, 1990 to April 1, 1993 to Ambassador in Madrid . He was retired in June 1996 .
