The Lingmell Beck is a river in the Lake District , Cumbria , England . The Lingmell Beck arises south of the Great Gable and southwest of the Sty Head Pass from the confluence of Piers Gill and Spouthead Gill . The Lingmell Beck flows first in a westerly and later in a southwesterly direction near the hamlet Wasdale Head and flows into the northern end of Wast Water Lake.
