Linphone ( acronym from Linux phone ) is free software for IP telephony that is available under the GNU GPLv2 license .

The program is available in a Linux , Windows and macOS version , the freely accessible source code can be used for Unix-like operating systems such as FreeBSD . There are also clients for Android , iOS , Blackberry , Windows Phone and Windows 10 Mobile . In addition to the GTK + -based graphical user interface, there are also two console programs. Linphone Web is also available in a web browser version .
