Lis Kertelge , sometimes referred to as "Liz Kertelge" (* before 1963 ) is a German actress , radio play and voice actor .

life and work

Lis Kertelge played as an actress in the early 1960s at the Theater im Schweizer Haus in Munich. In addition to television roles such as Imo Moszkowicz ' Actis and Rolf von Sydow's multi-part Dostoevsky film adaptation, The Idiot, she also appeared in commercials, for example for Rama .

Lis Kertelge also works as a speaker for radio plays and film dubbing . As a voice actress, she voiced her voice to Carrie Fisher in Scream 3 and June Lockhart in Under the California Sun, among others .

Metamorphosis of a face

In 1966, the actress attracted widespread attention when she was portrayed by a total of 47 visual artists as part of the special exhibition Metamorphosis of a Face for the Haus der Kunst in Munich. This project was developed by the journalist Hans Eberhard Gabriel, who wanted to "test the possibilities of contemporary portraits" in this way. Gabriel met Lis Kertelge in 1964 at a theater performance and was able to win her over for his project. For this purpose he tried to establish contact with 80 artists in the Federal Republic and the GDR. Despite rejections from the Ministry of Culture and from well-known artists such as Oskar Kokoschka , Heinz Trökes and Mac Zimmermann , 47 painters, graphic artists and photographers took part in the project. Lis Kertelge visited the individual artists in their places of residence in order to be able to stand as models.
