Lisa Langlois

Lisa Langlois (born March 15, 1959 in North Bay , Ontario ) is a Canadian actress .

Life and accomplishments

Langlois took second place in the Miss Teen Canada Pageant competition in 1974 . The actress made her debut on the Canadian mystery television series Sidestreet in 1975 . In the thriller Blood Relatives (1978) by Claude Chabrol , she played one of the bigger roles on the side of Donald Sutherland . In the same year she starred alongside Isabelle Huppert in the thriller Violette Nozière , which was also directed by Chabrol.

In the thriller The Class of 1984 (1982) Langlois played alongside Roddy McDowall and Michael J. Fox . She moved to Los Angeles and took on major roles in the comedy Joy of Sex (1984) and - alongside Michael O'Keefe , Rebecca De Mornay and Randy Quaid - in the 1985 comedy The Professional's Wife . In the SF horror film Das Nest - Breeding Grounds of Horror (1988) she appeared in one of the leading roles, similar to the independent thriller Mindfield (1989), in which she starred alongside Michael Ironside and Christopher Plummer . Since the early 1990s, when she returned to Canada, she has played increasingly in individual episodes of television series and in television films such as Fire Serpent (2007) and Framed for Murder (2007).

Langlois married Canadian actor Robert Ulrich in 1994 , from whom she has since divorced. She has a child.
