List of ancient Tibetan legal codes

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

This is a list of old Tibetan Gesetzeskodizes ( Tib. Khrims yig ). Some monastery regulations (Tib. Bca 'yig ) have also been included, e.g. B. from the Gelug monastery Ganden and the Nyingma monastery Mindrölling .

Some of the codes are said to date back to the time of the 33rd Tibetan King Songtsen Gampo ( Tib. Srong btsan sgan po ) in the 7th century , who was both spiritual and secular head of Tibet.
