The monuments of the Swabian market in Kaisheim are compiled on this page . This table is a partial list of the list of architectural monuments in Bavaria . The basis is the Bavarian Monument List , which was first drawn up on the basis of the Bavarian Monument Protection Act of October 1, 1973 and has since been managed by the Bavarian State Office for Monument Preservation . The following information does not replace the legally binding information from the monument protection authority.

Former convent building, now a penal institution and museum, closed complex with two inner courtyards and a courtyard open to the north east of the choir, built directly on the south and east side of the church, three-storey pitched roof buildings with plastered rustics, plastered framing around the windows, belt and eaves cornices, in the east - and south wing protruding, raised by a lower storey corner and central projections with corner rustication, plaster frames around the windows and hipped or mansard roofs, pilasters or pilaster strips and portals framed by edikula, on the central projections roof turrets, in the east the imperial hall, in the south formerly the library, built by Franz Beer, 1716 ff .;

Catholic parish church of the Assumption of Mary, formerly Cistercian monastery church The Gothic three-aisled pillar basilica towering over the monastery, designed in the French style, on a cruciform floor plan with transept and double ambulatory, the southern transverse arm for the sacristy, pushed off the axis, walled up, the outer walls in the Cistercian style sober and only structured by a sequence of buttresses, octagonal Crossing tower with tail roof and lantern, interior also unadorned with unstructured high walls and simple ribbed vaults, built in 1352 ff. In place of a previous building from east to west, 1459 crossing tower by Heinrich and Hans Feldkirchner, partially rebuilt in 1659, 1789 f.
