Bödldorf

location object description File no. image
Bödldorf
( location )
Ensemble Weiler Bödldorf The hamlet is located roughly in the center of the municipality of Kröning, which has been famous for its pottery since the 14th century (the former landscape term is “Der Kröning” or “Am Kröning”). In Bödldorf itself three stoners are mentioned as early as 1474. In the period from 1767 to 1903 there are still five potter's workshops (out of six today). What is remarkable is the so far undisturbed building tradition of the hamlet, whose farmhouses still have the old flat gable roof and a partially plastered upper floor of a block building. In terms of type, the Bödldorfer houses are Einfirsthöfe (Mitterstall or Mittertennbauten) with a high arbor and eaves ; through additions from the 19th century, hooked or three-sided courtyards were created.

House no. 1 is a scattered example of the Rottal stable house; A stately, genuine Hafner property shows house no. 4 with the characteristic room sequence living part-corridor-workshop-barn-barn. On the old outbuildings, house no. 1 has a parallel stable with a log-built upper floor and house no. 5 has a transversely attached, raised log-built barn. The mostly eaves-standing farmhouses lie on both sides of the slightly curved thoroughfare and are surrounded by old house gardens and orchards; however, the place located on a flat hill shows more of a cluster village character. The only thing to be noted is the cladding of the facade on the west and south sides of house no.

Remarks

  1. This list may not correspond to the current status of the official list of monuments. The latter can be viewed on the Internet as a PDF using the link given under web links and is also mapped in the Bavarian Monument Atlas . Even these representations, although they are updated daily by the Bavarian State Office for Monument Preservation , do not always and everywhere reflect the current status. Therefore, the presence or absence of an object in this list or in the Bavarian Monument Atlas does not guarantee that it is currently a registered monument or not. The Bavarian List of Monuments is also an information directory. The monument property - and thus the legal protection - is defined in Art. 1 of the Bavarian Monument Protection Act (BayDSchG) and does not depend on the mapping in the monument atlas or the entry in the Bavarian monument list. Objects that are not listed in the Bavarian Monument List can also be monuments if they meet the criteria according to Art. 1 BayDSchG. Early involvement of the Bavarian State Office for Monument Preservation according to Art. 6 BayDSchG is therefore necessary in all projects.
