Cemetery portal | The simple portal is made of white plastered brick and has a large gate passage and a smaller pedestrian entrance on the right. Three simple battlements crown the portal with the inscription "Jesus Christ lives". |

church | The Holy Cross Church dates from the 14th century. The Gothic church building was built around 1300 under the patronage of the Eldena monastery as a three-aisled , six-bay hall church with a north sacristy and a late Gothic south porch made of brick and destroyed several times. In 1750 it was given its current form under the direction of Andreas Meyer from Greifswald; 1842 the neo-Gothic tower according to plans by Menzel from Alt Pansow. Inside there is a pulpit altar from 1750 and an organ by Johann Friedrich Nerlich from 1955. |
