Villa Tiedke | The tower villa was a gift from Friedrich Wilhelm IV to the valet Ernst Georg Tiedke. Ludwig Persius designed the house based on Florentine city palaces of the Quattrocento , which the master mason Adolph Wilhelm Hecker built between 1843 and 1845. In the second construction phase around 1850, additions were made on the east side and around 1900 and 1960 renovations and installations were made inside. In the wall niches on the north and west side, the figures " Ceres " (secured) and "Humboldtsche Nymph" (lost) from the Moritz Geiß iron and zinc foundry used to stand . | |
