Villa Tiedke The tower villa was a gift from Friedrich Wilhelm IV to the valet Ernst Georg Tiedke. Ludwig Persius designed the house based on Florentine city palaces of the Quattrocento , which the master mason Adolph Wilhelm Hecker built between 1843 and 1845. In the second construction phase around 1850, additions were made on the east side and around 1900 and 1960 renovations and installations were made inside. In the wall niches on the north and west side, the figures " Ceres " (secured) and "Humboldtsche Nymph" (lost) from the Moritz Geiß iron and zinc foundry used to stand .

The villa underwent further structural changes in 1898, including the addition of the west wing according to plans by the Berlin architects Zaar & Vahl .

school The former schoolhouse belonging to the Bornstedt Crown Estate was built in 1855/56 based on a design by Ludwig Ferdinand Hesse . The princes Wilhelm and Heinrich were taught here together with the village children by Georg Ernst Hinzpeter . In order to better illuminate the rooms , Crown Princess Victoria had the single-storey raw brick building redesigned in 1868. After the construction of a larger school house on Potsdamer Strasse (see: Schulplatz 1), the house was used to accommodate farm workers. Further modifications were made in 1964.
