List of Governors of Rajasthan

The following table lists the governors of Rajasthan with their respective terms of office. On November 1, 1956, the States Reorganization Act created the state with a governor within its current boundaries. The area of ​​Rajasthan consisted of areas of the Rajputana Agency as an amalgamation of the Rajput princely states and was initially under the leadership of Maharao Bhim Singh II (1909-1991) of Kota as "Rajpramukh" and then from April 1948 to July 1955 by Maharana Bhopal Singh (1884–1955) from Udaipur as “Maharajpramukh”, who died in office, and Maharaja Sawai Man Singh II (1912–1970) from Jaipur as “Rajpramukh”.
